Hannes studied at the University of Pretoria and joined Urban Dynamics in 1994 after working for 5 years as Deputy Director at the National Department Public Works. His natural leadership skills immediately became apparent and after proving his worth as manager of the Town Planning section, he accepted an appointment to the UD Board of Directors in 1997. Hannes became Managing Director of Urban Dynamics in 2004.
Hannes is regarded as an absolute property development and public sector project finance specialist and the principle consultant and programme manager on many of the most prominent public sector financed housing projects.
Hannes resides in Lucas Rand, Pretoria with his wife and three daughters.

Stan joined Urban Dynamics in 2002 and is currently the Managing Director of Powerhouse Consortium of which Urban Dynamics is the controlling consortium member.
He specializes in Strategic Programme and Project Management, Feasibility Studies and the compilation of Business Plans for major construction and infrastructure projects. His recent professional accomplishments were in the overall Project Management for the Bekkersdal Urban Renewal Project and the preparation of Municipal Housing Development Plans for the Gauteng Province. Stan also managed the West Rand and Gauteng RPT’s and PRT’s and was intimately involved with the drafting of the Evaton Renewal Master and Business Plan.
Stan holds a Diploma in Media Studies, studied towards his BA in Politics and is a University Entrant in Commerce.

Jean-Luc earned his professional qualification from the University of Paris in 1982. He joined the Johannesburg City Council in 1985 on a 3-year exchange programme. By 1988 Jean-Luc decided to extend his stay in South Africa and left the City Council as Acting Director: City Planning in 1995. Jean-Luc joined Urban Dynamics in 1996 and was appointed as a Director responsible for Strategic Planning.
Jean-Luc is a specialist planner with particular expertise in the formulation of Land Use Management Schemes, Planning and Housing Legislation and experience in the conceptualization, design and implementation of integrated housing projects.
Jean-Luc and his wife raised two children in South Africa and reside in Fairland, Johannesburg.

After 5 years of formal employment as a Facilitation Manager in the company, Reggie Nkabinde was formally appointed to the Board of Directors of Urban Dynamics in 2011.
Reggie specializes in the management of large and complex housing projects, community facilitation, beneficiary administration, public participation and mediation and conflict resolution. Reggie is indispensible as manager towards the successful implementation of the Urban Renewal and community-based construction initiatives of the company's development initiatives throughout South Africa.

Jon joined Urban Dynamics (then Van Zyl, Attwell & De Kock) as the company’s first bursary student in 1990. He completed his honours degree and has been in the employ of Urban Dynamics since 1994. He was appointed as an Associate Director in 1998 and a Director on the Board by 2000.
Jon is currently the manager of the town planning unit at Urban Dynamics and his responsibilities extends further to include management of the Group's IT Infrastructure, Drawing Office and the representative Director on the Board of UD Land Surveyors.
His principle focus is on the establishment of development rights for new land development applications can be regarded as a specialist in the fields of cost-effective layout design for subsidized housing projects, leisure and security estate developments and the management of large and complex in-situ upgrading projects.
Jon and his wife Kim live in Southdowns, Centurion with their 2 children, Mignonne & Jo.

Henk joined the company in November 2003. He completed a degree in Town and Regional Planning in 1985 at the Potchefstroom University of Christian Higher Education. In addition he has a diploma in Advanced Project Management and is a Prince Foundation Practitioner.
Henk gained experience working gained at provincial government level as well as local government level and also consulted for a number of years prior to joining Urban Dynamics. He has also spent time in the United States working for the South East Idaho Council of Government as a Town Planner.
He currently focuses mainly on housing development projects in low income areas, two of these projects being Presidential Projects. He was also recently responsible for the development and establishment of a Plasticulture project, designing and operation a labour intensive waste management programme and the conducting of audits on water and sewer networks.

Napoleon joined Urban Dynamics in 2002 after completing his Masters Diploma in Human Resource Management at RAU (now University of Johannesburg). As expert project manager, Napoleon focuses on the management of large, government funded housing projects and have been pivotal in the implementation of successful Macro Housing projects such as Golden Triangle (7000 stands and 5070 houses), Palm Ridge (13224 stands and 9654 houses), Lehae (4001 stands and 3134 houses) and have managed the construction of some 2253 houses under the Community Builder Programme.
Napoleon is an expert Project Manager, professional facilitator and project mediator and a key asset in the success of Urban Dynamics' management of engineering services installation and house construction.

Nico joined Urban Dynamics in 1997 as a Town Planner after obtaining his Town Planning degree Cum Laude from Potchefstroom University in 1996. During this period his main professional focus was on large Township Establishments and Feasibility Studies.
In 2001 he was afforded the opportunity to work as Town Planner in Heritage and Urban Design in Ireland. He rejoined Urban Dynamics in 2003 and became a Director of the company in 2005. Currently, Nico specializes in Planning, Urban Design and Urban Renewal/Regeneration on a multitude of scales. In addition he is also an authority in the preparation of Feasibility Studies, Programme Management, Urban Renewal Development Frameworks, Business Plans and planning & design of integrated sustainable human settlements for a variety of publicly/ private-funded upgrading.
Nico has had the opportunity to explore and put into practice the various Planning & Urban Design practices obtained from working tours of countries such as China, London and the Netherlands. Nico is currently furthering his studies, completing a Masters of Urban Design at Wits University.

Maryke completed her degree in Town & Regional Planning (B Art et Scien Planning) at the University of North West in 1994 and started her career at Port Elizabeth Municipality, after completing a case study Thesis on “Socio-Economic Integration - post apartheid in the Metro” in her final year (Cum Laude).
In 1996 Maryke joined Urban Dynamics in the then Vaal Office (Vanderbijlpark) and in 2000 joined the Urban Dynamics Head Office in Johannesburg. In 2003 she as nominated as an Associate Director and the following year as Director in the company. In 2005 an opportunity arose for Urban Dynamics to enter into a Joint Venture with a BEE company to manage a Low Cost Housing Construction company in the Eastern Cape and she moved to Port Elizabeth to set up and manage the new venture for two years.
In 2007 she took a position as the branch manager for the Urban Dynamics North West Office. In 2009 she was seconded to Powerhouse Consortium to work as a Project Manager on an 18 month contract at Lead Consultant for the Professional Regional Team for the Cacadu District.
Maryke has a wide range of experience, due to the nature of the different positions she’s held over the past 14 years with Urban Dynamics. Her first love is township design but she is an expert project manager, specializing in the field of low cost subsidized housing construction.

Teboho studied for her Town and Regional Planning degree at the University of the Witwatersrand and completed in 1998. After completing her undergraduate degree, she embarked on a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration at Wits Business School, where after she joined Urban Dynamics as a trainee town planner. In 2002, Teboho left the company to join the Gauteng Department of Housing initially as an Assistant Director in the Planning section.
She left the Department in 2004, after having worked as a Deputy Director on projects such as the Bekkersdal Renewal Project and the Evaton Renewal Project. Teboho rejoined Urban Dynamics in 2005, became an Associate Director in 2007 and a Director on the Board in 2011.
Professionally, Teboho is involved with the management of the major Urban Renewal Programme Winterveldt Reconstruction and Redevelopment Programme, and the project management of housing delivery projects.
Teboho is the key individual that was responsible for the drafting of the company's Quality Management System and received an accolade when this system was ISO 9001 accreditted in 2009. She is currently responsible for the maintenance and expansion of this system and is furthermore the Director responsible for Hurman Resources.

Giant joined Urban Dynamics in July 2003 from his previous employment as a Project Manager for Trustgrow. Giant has since completed his Diploma in Building and Construction Management through the Technicon of Pretoria.
Giant is an expert Project Manager involved with housing and infrastrucutre projects both in the bonded market and the non credit linked market (Subsidy housing). On joining Urban Dynamics, his first assignments were to manage the housing projects of Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality at Palm Ridge and Tamaho. Both these projects are now in their final stages of completion and hand over. The Palm Ridge project totalled 13 224 stands with 9 550 houses built to date. In addition to Palm Ridge, Giant also managed the installaion of services in Lehae totalling 4001 serviced stands and a total of 3134 houses and have managed the construction of some 2253 houses under the Community Builder Programme.
Giant is a qualified Project Manager with expertise is in the fields of infrastructure and house construction and also in the fields of project facilitation and dispute resolution. Giant is a key managerial asset in the success of Urban Dynamics’ project management and construction projects.

Nico joined Urban Dynamics in 2005 after 12 years as Project Manager at Kwezi V3 Engineers and 2 years as Civil Engineering Technician at Van Wyk & Louw (now Aurecon). He is currently completing his Civil Engineering Degree and is a registered Professional Construction Project Manager with the South African Council for Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP).
Nico is an expert Project Manager for the implementation and management of civil infrastructure and housing projects, with extensive experience regarding project feasibility, the design and construction of services, tender documentation and contract administration - typically for large integrated housing projects. In addition he is also responsible as Project Manager for a variety of other projects. Notably is the development of the Palm Ridge Extension 1 to 8 Housing Project consisting of 13 400 stands and the Ekurhuleni Turnkey Roads & Stormwater Programmes.
Nico and his wife Marianne live in Boksburg and have children currently studying at University.

Danie completed his B.Proc Law Degree at the University of the Free State in 2000 and then concluded his articles as candidate attorney in Bloemfontein in March 2002. He completed his Masters in Urban and Regional Planning degree at the University of the Free State in December 2002 where after he joined Urban Dynamics in 2003 and became an Associate Director of the company in 2008.
Professionally, Danie is intimately involved with various housing projects as a member of the professional teams for these projects. Danie has extensive experience in development control and township establishment applications and an expert in various town planning procedures and development-related legislation.
